The United Democratic Women’s Club of Talbot County will hold its first Annual Meeting with Susie Turnbull, Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party, who will speak on the upcoming political year. With races for Governor, Comptroller, State Legislature, and Congress looming, Democrats will have a lot on their plates in 2010.

The event is free, open to the public.
Light fare, including finger sandwiches, tidbits, desserts, and coffee or soda will be served.

A life-long community activist, Ms. Turnbull before accepting the chair of the State Democratic Party has worked in numerous campaigns and held Democratic Party leadership positions. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee, since being elected in 2005. She regularly mentors women running for elected office and is the Senior Democratic Strategist for Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP).
